How it works in this sector
Managing short-term rentals is not managing a building: it is managing scattered flats with overlapping schedules. This circuit does not go door to door — the linen from every flat comes together at a point agreed with management, or stays at the Loulé plant or the Vilamoura point, and travels from there. Portimão is planned and not open yet.
Between one checkout and the next check-in there are only a few hours, enough to make the beds and little else. That is why the next set is held at the plant and ready when management asks for it, and clean linen goes back sorted per flat, in 24 to 48 hours.
August needs more passes a week than March, and the calendar follows that difference. Recurring contracts and large volumes have their own terms, agreed case by case.
